Dear Mayor Mick Cornett:
I am a citizen currently living in Oklahoma City. I have been researching over some issues in Oklahoma and I found that one issue was obesity. Oklahoma is currently an obese state which ranks 6th nationwide. That shows that we are in a very dangerous sitiuation. If Oklahoma keeps this percentage of obese people, Oklahoma's population will decrease due to deaths and illnesses.
I have also researched and found that you have been trying to solve this issue buy challenging Oklahomans to lose 1,000,000 pounds and that you have achieved three-fourths of it. In my opinion, this is a great idea and challenge for Oklahomans to take. This will also eventually improve Oklahoma's health and decrease deaths and illnesses. I think you are doing a great job by helping this issue and hopefully Oklahoma's rank nationwide will be at the bottom!
                                                                                                                                      Sincerely,
                                                                                                                                      Layan Salous

Dear Editor,
There has been a debate over SQ 759. Affirmative action is a way to end discrimination and increase diversity throughout Oklahoma. It also gives minorities opportunities and equal rights like whites. We need to help vote NO on this because if Affirmative Action is not applied in Oklahoma the diversity here will decrease and the minorities, such as I, will not gain as much opportunities as others. This is a big issue and we must stop it because others will eventually suffer severly.
                                                                                                                                                 Sincerely,
                                                                                                                              A concerned citizen
